Shannon was first involved with the organisation when she went on one of the charity’s volunteer projects. She developed such a passion for the work we do that she became a Summer Intern in Uganda, where she spent three and a half months. Shannon then became an intern back in the UK for another three months, further developing her love of the charity. Shannon is now a fundraising officer and enjoys supporting some of our core supporters including students, ensuring they feel engaged and excited about the projects they are about to embark on.
